The Sensis® Insights Report: Teleworking - June 2005 was sourced from the Sensis® Consumer Report, and the Sensis® Business Index. The report looked at the attitudes and behaviours to working away from the usual workplace during normal business hours aided by some form of technology. The report found Australians enthusiastically embracing technology and are using the flexibilities offered by technology to change how we do work and how we do business.

Sensis® and Australian Business Limited Manufacturing and Allied Services Index – September 2004
September 2004
The September 2004 Manufacturing and Allied Services Index recorded strengthening business confidence for manufacturers, however manufacturing firms were more worried about the next 12 months than their counterparts in closely allied sectors. Perceptions of the current state of the economy improved strongly, with the vast majority of firms believing that the economy would be at least as strong or better a year from now. Performance in the key demand indicators of sales and capacity utilisation improved, and there was continued strong employment performance. Key economic indicators for the year ahead maintained strong levels.

Sensis® and Australian Business Limited Manufacturing and Allied Services Index – March 2004
March 2004
The March 2004 Manufacturing and Allied Services Index recorded strong levels of business confidence for manufacturers and allied firms, however manufacturing firms were more worried about the next 12 months than their counterparts in allied sectors. Perceptions of the current state of the economy were also strong, with the vast majority of firms believing that the economy would be at least as strong or better a year from now. In line with strong expectations for the economy over the coming year, key economic indicators were also strong for the year ahead, with the main area of weakness being capital expenditure.
