Who should use it?

Anyone who wants to provide Australian local business search capabilities within their web application should use the Sensis Business Search API.

API's are quite technical, meaning you will need a Web Developer / Programmer to integrate it effectively into your application. All the juicy technical details can be found in the Technical Documentation section.

What are the key things I need to know?

  1. The Sensis Business Search API can be used for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
  2. You are free to build applications that publish information to consumer end-users.
  3. When building your application, we require you to provide "reporting events" relating to interactions with each business listing back to Sensis. This can be done very simply by following instructions within the technical documentation.
  4. In return, you can access & leverage the Yellow Pages® brand within your web-application. Our brand guidelines provide a range of “powered by” branding options for your consideration & use.
