Sensis today launches a multi-million dollar brand campaign to raise the profile of the Sensis brand in the public arena.

Ms Amanda Brook, General Manager Marketing is excited to be leading the marketing team behind the campaign at such a pivotal time in Sensis’ journey.

“We have developed a campaign to reflect the feelings of many people in today’s time-poor society - there is so much information available, and though we love the amount, the number of sources can be overwhelming” said Ms Brook. Sensis aims to help solve the ‘information overload’ by providing a single point of contact for Australians looking for information.

The depth of content that Sensis holds on Australian households, businesses and locations and the integration of this content, combines to provide Sensis with a powerful and unique position within the Australian market, providing the backbone to launch Sensis as the local search company.

The brand campaign is aimed at taking advantage of this unique positioning. The target audience for this campaign is consumers – pre-positioning the company for the launch of two significant consumer products. These product launches will also be accompanied by their own advertising campaigns but closely linked with the overarching brand campaign.

The Sensis® brand launch will have a massive presence across the country as the multi-dimensional campaign includes TV, radio, outdoor, press, online, promotions, competitions and ambient media. Heavy weight TV schedule includes most of the 'must-watch' programs of our target market.

Ms Brook said, “We have an intensive outdoor Metrolite (bus shelter) campaign planned, in addition to a heavy transit campaign. The Sensis® brand will be seen in more than 1500 locations around Australia on June 21 when a team of 'chalkers' will be hitting the streets at 4am and branding roads and pavements with the Sensis logo.”

These campaigns underpin Sensis’ goal of becoming an Australian household brand and further positioning the company as the leading supplier of local information in Australia. The ultimate outcome: Sensis is the only name you need to know to search for information in Australia; when you think of search, you think of Sensis.
