You can even find out street addresses, opening hours or websites … but most importantly we can try to connect you straight through too!
For a limited time, calls to 12455 are redirected through to the new Call Connect service. Call Connect is available to Telstra Pre-Paid mobile customers (on 12456 only), Telstra fixed-line and Telstra post-paid customers.
Calls to Call Connect cost $1.90. Standard mobile rates also apply. A connection fee of $0.99 applies to successful and attempted connection to the number requested. Standard rates will apply to the connected call.
What information can I get from Call Connect?
If you know the name of the person or business you’re looking for, you’ll be connected to their number. Or if you’re looking for a certain type of business but don’t know their name, you can receive up to three business listings from the operator and be connected to any one of them. Too easy!
If calling from a mobile phone and you are connected to the person or business you need, you automatically receive an SMS message with your requested contact details as part of the Call Connect fee.

Did you know you can also send an SMS to 1-2-4-5-6 to request the phone number of a person or business? A Call Connect operator will do the searching for you and respond to you via SMS.
What’s the price?
It costs $1.90 to call the service. Standard mobile rates also apply. A connection fee of $0.99 applies to successful and attempted connection and standard rates apply to the connected call. SMS requests cost a flat fee of $1.90 per request.
