Local snappers to bring Yellow Pages to life

For the first time, amateur photographers will have the chance to have their work seen by the thousands of Australians who receive Yellow Pages® books, through the Capture the Cover competition.

Supported by leading photographers including Matt Irwin and Steve Fraser, Capture the Cover asks residents living in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth to submit an original photograph that best depicts life in their suburb as part of the theme Through the Eyes of a Local. 

Multiple versions of the Yellow Pages book will be distributed in these five markets next year. Twelve editions of the book will be distributed in Melbourne, nine editions in Sydney, six editions in Brisbane, five editions in Perth and four editions in Adelaide.

A total of 10 images will feature on each cover, with one major prize per cover of either an iPad or Canon EOS 1100 DSLR on offer and nine runner-up prizes per cover of $50 cash cards.
