Sensis extends strategic alliance with Google

Sensis today announced it has entered a strategic agreement with Google to become an Authorised Reseller of Google’s AdWords advertising program in Australia. This agreement is an extension of Sensis and Google’s existing relationship to provide search marketing services to Australian small businesses.
Google AdWords is an online advertising platform that allows advertisers to display ads in response to a Google search using keywords related to that advertiser’s products and services. Google Adwords ads appear in the 'Sponsored links' sections on each search results page, above the ‘organic’ search results.
Small and medium-sized businesses working with the Sensis Yellow Pages team will receive professional, full-service Google AdWords account management, from account setup and activation to ongoing campaign monitoring and optimization.
Sensis CEO Mr Bruce Akhurst commented: “Sensis continues to look at new ways to broaden our offerings to our customers as we respond to the emerging digital needs of the SME market. This agreement with Google further supports the focus of our team which includes making it easy for small businesses to find more customers online and capitalise on opportunities in the digital world.
